What To Look For In A Partner

If you have just started seeing someone, congratulations! Bustle believes that there are some traits you might want to look for early on in your relationship to see how mature your new partner is.

• They're willing to be vulnerable when you're around them. So if they are opening up to you and sharing their emotions with you, that's a good sign!
• They have good financial habits and take care of their rent, utilities, student loans and car payment before splurging on a night out trying to impress you. It may make for a headache for you down the road if they are not financially wise now.
• They have goals and they are working to accomplish their goals in some way. If you can see them following through with that they set out to do in order to better themselves, that's a huge sign of maturity.

Stability and maturity are not usual factors in raw attraction with someone else, so once the physical attraction subsides, and you start getting to know who they are as a person, these are some traits that you might want to look for.
