When it comes to the morning, there are two kinds of people: those who wake up even before their alarm goes off, and those who press the snooze button so many times that it's a miracle that they get out of bed at any point at all. If you're the latter and want (or need) to become the former, Bustle has a few good tricks to help you out.

  • Relocate your alarm away from the blind arm reach that you have every morning as you try and hit snooze. Consider having it far enough away that you have to get out of bed to turn it off.
  • Exhaust yourself in the evening before bed, whether that means exercising, cleaning, even sex. Make yourself tired so you can fall asleep at a reasonable time.
  • Drink! Water that is, or coffee if you need it. It will help to jump start your morning and get your day started.

It takes about three weeks to develop a new habit, so just try to stick it out, and before you know it you'll be waking up with the sun!
