Prevent Yourself from Burning Out
It can be really hard to juggle work and home life every day. You want to take a break, but your schedule and bank account may not allow for a weekend away. Before you feel the burnout coming, here's some ways you can work to prevent it all.
- Create boundaries with your technology. I am definitely a hypocrite telling you to curb your phone and computer habits if you feel like you're keeping yourself awake at night or hurting your real life relationships because you're so consumed by social media. We can both do better. I can definitely see how that can help you feel better about yourself and your world.
- Take a lunch break when you're at work. You might think that working through your lunch hour could help you get more work done, but taking that break can help you reset and be more productive with a clear head when you get back to work.
- Get plenty of sleep and prioritize your sleep.Your body needs that time to process the day that just happened and reset itself and get ready for the day ahead. Without enough sleep, a lot can start to happen in terms of your health. And your health is so, so important.
Burnout can happen very quickly if you don't take the right steps to take care of yourself every day.
