Fight Your Headaches By Changing Your Diet
If you've ever called out of work or went in late because you had a headache that kept you in bed cradling a bottle of aspirin, you'd want a solution and quick. Bustle believes that it might be your diet that is plaguing you with these horrible headaches. Consider changing some things and see if your headaches disappear.
- Increase your intake of magnesium as a low level of that mineral has been known to trigger migraines, so eat more black beans, pumpkin seeds and avocado and see if that helps ward off the headaches.
- Add in some fish to your diet because omega-3 fatty acids can assist in reducing inflammation and hopefully help with the frequency and severity of your headaches.
- Drink more water which you've heard time and time again, but that seems to solve everything! Dehydration can be the cause of your headaches, so try to stay hydrated to help curb the worst of your migraines.
It can't hurt to try new things, supplementing or adding to your diet as a way to help you get out of bed in the morning and get rid of your headaches for good.
