The beginning of a relationship is often called "the honeymoon phase" because everything that your partner does is somehow just so cute, so romantic and so perfect. Brit.Co reveals why, once that phase is over, you somehow find yourself turned off by your partner because you think they are just too interested in you.

If you find yourself rolling your eyes when your partner sends you a text message, or if you cancel plans with them to avoid being alone together, you might be feeling like you are less interested in them than they are of you.

Suddenly you feel that hanging out with them is more of a chore, or that they seem greedy to you for wanting to spend time with you so much. A relationship needs to be balanced, and if one partner clearly is more interested in the other person, it definitely needs to be adjusted in order to work out.

A partner who suddenly seems "needy" for wanting all of your attention can be a turn-off. Once the honeymoon phase wears off, our feelings can naturally change. And if one person is still head-over-heels and the other one is questioning the relationship, there needs to be a conversation.

It's good to have balance inside and outside of the relationship in order for it to work. I hope you're not currently feeling like this, but if you are, know that you are not alone. This happens to everyone!
