I wish that I worked out more, loved to run and wanted to do it every day. Unfortunately that's not me and I'm lucky if I workout 3 times a week haha. But there are many of you out there who exercise on the regular, eat healthy and try to stay in shape., and if you are putting that much energy into something you hope you're doing it right!

If there's one person who knows about working out and the best way to do it,it is a personal trainer! Trainers entire job is working out, and knowing the best routines to work out so if they something doesn't work or is being done wrong, I'd take their advice!

& that is exactly what I'm going to help you with!!!! This study asked five top-tier fitness experts what mistakes they see many of us making at the gym. The adjustments they recommend are surprisingly easy and can help crank-up your calorie burn!!

The BIGGEST mistakes we make at the gym...

1. Leaning on the handlebars when you use a treadmill or stationary bike. It makes it easier, and you don't get as good of a workout. It prevents you from engaging your core muscles and your glutes.

2. Only working out your glamour muscles. (Meaning the ones you look at in the mirror, like your biceps and abs.) People tend to concentrate on those, and forget about the muscles in their back.

3. Not taking deep enough breaths. Your stomach should go out, not just your chest. Otherwise you don't get enough oxygen in your bloodstream.

4. You shouldn't hit it hard every day. High-intensity interval training melts lots of calories in a short amount of time. But like most wondrous things in life, it's better in moderation!

& sadly that's not all... there's a few more mistakes we make at the gym, see them here!
