If you are trying to make a new healthy habit, then you know it can be very difficult to make sure it sticks. I might have an easy trick to help you with that.

According to Time Magazine, your best chance to make a new habit stick is to do it first thing in the morning.

According to the study, people tried to get into the habit of doing a simple, 15-second stretch every day.  Half of them did it in the morning, right after they woke up.  The other half had to do it at night, before they went to bed.

And the ones who stretched in the morning started doing it out of habit a lot sooner than the ones who stretched at night.

"The authors of the study think there is a link between cortisol levels and forming habits.  And there's much more cortisol in your body in the morning than there is at night."

If you have a habit you are trying to form, try this trick and see if it works.
