Ways To Reset On A Bad Day
It's Monday, it's raining, if you're having a bad day today, there are a few ways in which you can try to reset your day and turn things around. Bustle has come up with some simple ways for you to try to make the best of the day even if it started off pretty lousy.
- Do something nice for someone because chances are, if the rain is bringing your mood down, it's affecting the mood of others as well. So stop by a florist and pick up a small bouquet for your co-worker friend on your lunch hour, or when you go to get a pick-me-up coffee, grab another one for your boss. It's hard to feel bad when you do something nice for someone else.
- Get a change of scenery if you can for fifteen minutes by stepping outside and going for a quick walk. Get away from your desk and try to take in some deep breaths of fresh air outside.
- Laugh at someone's joke or make up a joke of your own to get others laughing. A good, belly shaking laugh can make you feel better if there's something bringing down your mood.
Take a minute (or two) from your day and reset your mood in whatever way works best for you. If you pause and breathe, you may just be able to turn your whole day right around.
