It's so easy to get caught up in life. We are so focused on taking care of the daily responsibilities that we neglect each other.

And, before you know it, so much time has passed that you are not sure you can even get that spark back.

The website Bustle.com has come up with some tips on how to get the fun back into your relationship. If you just think that you need to freshen things up and relight that spark then hopefully these tips will help:

1. Have An "Un-Planned" Day
For myself, this is quite hard because I am a super planner, but sometimes it's good just to let life lead and explore a whole new town without a itinerary. Get in the car, and drive to somewhere you and your SO always wanted to go. A spontaneous trip can heighten your senses and possibly make you bond closer with your significant other because the both of you are trying something new together.

2. Play 36 Questions With Them
Whether you have been together for three months or three years, there is a possibly that you might not know everything about your significant other. If you want to have a little bit more fun and looking to bond closer together, try The New York Times "36 Questions That Lead To Love." It was initially a study conducted by psychologist Arthur Aron (and others) who separated the questions into three sets. By the end of answering all three sets, and allowing oneself to be vulnerable, one could possibly fall in love or feel closer to the other person. This could add so much needed intimacy and laughter to your relationship, which is always a good thing.

3. Try The World Subscription Box
If you haven't heard about the subscription, then you are missing out. It's basically a pre-packaged date night in a box. Every two months, you receive a box in the mail that is theme with a different country: One month it could be Japan, another could be France. They ship you food, a playlist, movie suggestions, and recipes. By incorporating this into your relationship every two months, you and significant other can set up a themed date night with whatever country you have received. Rent the suggested movies, and use the ingredients that they sent you to create a romantic night in for when you can't travel world.

4. Watch A Sexy Movie
Stream a sexy movie and put some candles on. This could easily put you in the mood and lead to lots of fun.

5. Take A Staycation In Your Own City
If you don't have the money or a car to easily take a random road trip, why not just explore your own town and stay in a hotel close by? The thought of staying the night in a new environment is enticing and fun! Pretend you are on vacation and just take time to relax and have fun with your partner without worrying about the other stresses in your life.

6. Surprise Them With A Delivery
There is nothing better than receiving an unexpected gift from your other half. It shows that they were randomly thinking about you and they wanted to make you happy. Instead of just giving it to them in person, let them receive a gift through the mail. It will be a huge surprise for your significant other once they realized that the package actually came from you. If you could add a little love note, then that will be the cherry on top.

7. Skype With Each Other From The Other Room
This might sound strange, but it could actually work. Let each of you take your computers into different rooms and Skype with your significant other. It forces you to perceive each other in a different way. I also recommend adding a little fun to the mix to spice things up — the good thing is at least you will be under the same roof if things get a little heated.

8. Have A Sleepover In The Middle Of Your Living Room
Who doesn't love sleepovers, especially if they involved pillows, tents, movies, and candy. Create a fun night in with your best friend by surprising them with a makeshift tent out of sheets and picking some of their favorite movies to watch. One of the best ways to add some fun, is by changing up the scenery and your partner will appreciate when you take the time create this fun space for the both of you.

9. Play Video Games
Not everyone has a game system, but it is always a good idea to add some competition into any relationship. Go try to find a game arcade in your town or if you do have a game system, try playing some video games at home. Make a few bets and whoever wins has to do whatever you say or want. It's fun for everyone and don't worry, everyone will win.

Good luck!
