I know I'm not alone when I say that I've had a conversation with my parents about never having children. I have two wonderful nephews and a cute niece, thanks to my sisters and their husbands, but I don't think that parenting is for me. Brit.Co tells me that I am not alone in how I feel.

"Grandpuppies" instead of grandchildren is a fantastic compromise for my parents and myself, as well as for other millennials and their parents. They can visit grandma and grandpa for fun weekends and can be spoiled just like a grandchild would be. Sure, they may not have my nose or eyes, but they are much better cuddlers, and I won't have to spend hundreds of dollars in diapers!

Adopting a puppy is a very serious commitment, as dogs can live for twelve years or more, and they need attention much like a child does. If there's one thing the world needs more of, if you ask me, it's puppies.
