I love my air conditioning. So, I don't care what you say about it, I am still going to crank it up. Could AC be making us fat though?

I hate to say this but it does make some sense. As much as I love my air conditioner, the reason behind why it could be making us fat does seem logical.

According to ABC News, with the wide spread use of central air and heating, your body does not have to work in order to cool down, or warm up meaning you expend less energy and store more fat.

"While hot weather suppresses your appetite, keeping cool increases the amount of food you want. Another contributor of obesity, the researcher found, may be lack of sleep. They found restricting sleep may actually increase hunger and appetite, contributing to more spare tires."

I guess that logic does make sense but I can't imagine myself without air conditioning.
