Binghamton Woman Charged with Felony ID Theft
A City of Binghamton woman is accused of stealing someone’s identity and making charges to their credit card.
Broome County Sheriff’s officials say 36-year-old Jamie Walsh is charged with felony identity theft and misdemeanor petit larceny.
Credit Card Reform Legislation Would Tighten Rules On Rates And Fees
Authorities arrested Walsh last Thursday. Investigators say the Binghamton woman is accused of making unauthorized transactions on another person’s credit card but did not indicate how they believe Walsh obtained the card and how much she charged up.
She was ordered to appear in court at a later date.
