Binghamton Police Investigate Shots Fired on the North Side

City of Binghamton Police are investigating an incident in which gun shots were fired near an apartment complex on the North Side early August 16.
Few details are available but police say they were called to Robert and Pearne Streets at 1:19 a.m. for a report of shots fired. The incident location is near the Town & Country Apartments.
Around 2 hours later, police on the scene reported recovering four shell casings at the intersection.
City Police officials say they had no word of any injuries as of 4 a.m. and officers were still on the scene at that time.
There were no suspects in custody and no descriptions available.
