There Is A New Dating Term Called Haunting

It's been so long since I have been on a date, I don't even know if I could do it now. And, after reading this I am quite sure I couldn't.

There is a term called "ghosting", which is when you are dating someone and then like a ghost you disappear. No communication at all. I didn't know it was called ghosting but I have heard of that happening.

Well, according to Mashable, since ghosting doesn't mess with your mind enough, there is now a new trend to watch out for called "haunting."

That's when someone you're not dating anymore starts liking your Facebook posts or watching your Snapchat story . . . but doesn't have any other contact with you.  Why are they suddenly interested in you again?  You don't know.  You're haunted.

I think this is just a modern version of what we did when I was a kid. But, instead of "haunting" it was called "creeping". I would sit in the back row of the auditorium to hear her concert, or walk passed her house across the street just to see what she was doing.

Maybe things aren't so different.
