The Modern Day Version Of A ‘Mood Ring’
Do you remember those rings that changed colors depending on your mood? Well, most of us have a modern day version of that.
I don't think that those mood rings were too accurate, but they were sort of neat. According to Men's Health, your phone could tell you if you are clinically blue, a study from Northwestern University reveals.
The more time people spent using their phone, the greater their odds of depression. They may be relying on the device as a way to withdraw, the scientists say. Sound like your MO? Find a counselor at locator.apa.org.
Do you think that there is any truth to this study? Do you find yourself reaching for your phone do escape from the daily grind? I think a good test would be to put your phone somewhere and not touch it for a few hours and see if you can do it. If you start to break out in a cold sweat then you might have an issue.
