Sometimes, trying to get healthy seems like an impossible task. Even overwhelming to say the least. But, there is one simple thing you can do that will help.

Every diet or weight loss program involves doing without or eliminating something. But, this time it's adding something that will give you longevity.

According to Harvard Medical School, eating spicy foods regularly is the secret to a longer life. People who eat fresh or dried chili peppers at least 3 times a week had a lower risk of premature death than those who did it less often.

I have been trying to do it more lately. So, I was excited when I read this study. A little hot sauce on foods or some crushed red pepper really does not only make things taste better but, could be adding years to your life as well.

"If you eat more spicy food, it's better for your health and lowers the risk for mortality, especially as it relates to cancer and heart disease."

And, according to this study it also helps battle type 2 diabetes.
