The Broome County Public Library Is Looking For The Cutest Pet
If you have a pet (or pets as I do), they are an important part of your life. Many of us treat our pets as nothing less than a part of the family. If you are like me, you tend to spoil your pets.
My wife and I celebrate the birthdays of our two Greyhounds and Whippet. While it's obvious they have no clue it's their birthday, they must know something special is going on with all the treats, toys, and special dinner they receive on their day. All that excitement wears them out at the end of the day.
Pets owners love to show off their pets how cute they are, how smart they are and even show off some tricks they've learned. When my wife and I take our Whippet out for a walk, we get so many comments about how cute he is. And most people mistake him for a baby Greyhound since they look just like one. I love the response when I state that he is 9 years old, and then proceed to mention he's not a Greyhound.
If you consider your pet to be the cutest in the county, you have the chance to prove it with the Broome County Public Library's Cutest Pet Contest. Submissions will be accepted between May 1st through the 15th, Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd cutest entries. Voting will occur from May 16th through the 27th, and the winners will be announced on June 1st.
The BCPB mentions that all pets are welcome in the contest. You may enter only once, and if you have multiple pets, enter them together in one photo. Only one submission will be allowed
