BIG Weight Loss Myths
There are thousands of tips out there on how to lose weight; drink more water, less alcohol, smaller portions, exercise everyday, only exercise every other day haha!! With all this bulls*** out there, it's really hard to determine what actually helps and what doesn't.
Well the sad part is, there have been some weight loss tips that were debunked and found to be myths... tips most of us have probably believed! Here's a few of the myths:
Myth #1: You just need to make a few small changes in your diet... LIES!!!!! Your body is constantly trying to maintain the SAME weight, so eating fast food three times a week instead of four probably isn't enough hahah
Myth #2: You have to set realistic goals, or you'll get frustrated and quit... LIES!!!!! There's actually no evidence that's true. And at least one study recently showed that having overly ambitious goals might actually help you lose MORE weight.
Myth #3: You can lose weight by having more sex... LIES!!!!! Sadly, it just doesn't burn enough calories; the average sex session only last 6 minutes, and burns about 20 calories.
