If you could carve the faces of four music artists into the side of a mountain, who would you want up there? Here's my four!

  • The Monkees is easily my top pick. Anyone who knows me knows that I love this band. I have seen them in concert three times and Peter Tork on his own once as well. I will keep going to their concerts as long as Micky and Mike continue to tour.
  • The Beatles is a no-brainer. They have done so, so much for music, and Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are still rocking to this day! I've seen Ringo in concert (can you tell that I love concerts?) and I would do some crazy things in order to see Paul in concert, too.
  • Bright Eyes/Conor Oberst created some music that definitely helped me through some tough times. Me, my Bright Eyes records, my headphones, spent a lot of nights in college together crying over old boyfriends. (But now I'm married!)
  • Blink-182 would be the last, but not the least choice. They have been making music for three decades, and honestly, their album California is definitely a top album for me. They are getting older, but their music is still so, so good.

It was so tough to narrow it down to just four artists, but here we are! There are some honorable mentions that I would like to add though, as well.

Honorable mentions: Weezer, Fleetwood Mac, Bastille, and Arctic Monkeys

Now tell me what your Music Mount Rushmore would be!
