America is running out of White Claw. Let that sink in.

The company confirmed that there is a shortage of its popular hard seltzer to CNN Business.

The culprit? The popularity that made the drink so well-known.

White claw's senior vice president told CNN Business that the drink has been flying off the shelves at a rapid pace, causing the nationwide shortage.

"We are working around the clock to increase supply given the rapid growth in consumer demand," Sanjiv Gajiwala, White Claw's senior vice president of marketing. "White Claw has accelerated faster than anyone could have predicted."

Gajiwala did not elaborate when stock would return to normal. CNN reports that according to data from Nielsen, White claw accounts for 55 percent of all hard seltzer sales in the United States.
