There are some relationships that (unfortunately) last longer than they really should. Elite Daily explains that there are small red flags that you should be wary of when knowing when a relationship is past its expiration date and should end for good.

  • When you make excuses for them because you have begun thinking that their poor behavior is somehow excusable.
  • When you no longer want to be around them which is a huge change from the beginning of the relationship when you couldn't wait to see them and hang out with them.
  • They don't support you whether it be your career decisions or something smaller like your new hobby. A partner should always be supportive and help you reach your goals.
  • You're no longer happy which is okay to admit to. If your partner no longer makes you happy, and this has been an on going issue for a while, maybe that's the best indicator that you need.

I'm not saying that every relationship doesn't have rough patches, but when the entire relationship is a rough patch, you may want to reconsider some things.
