It's that time of year again for our annual Food A Bago Food Drive to help the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse (CHOW).

I wish I could say that the need is not that great, but sadly the need keeps getting bigger and bigger every year.

We are set up in front of the Weis Food Market at 1290 Upper Front St. in Binghamton. We are in the Hillcrest RV camper right in front of the store. And, we will be there through Monday morning.

Anything that you can bring by would be greatly appreciated. Whether it's one can or a case of non-perishable food. All of the food collected will be given to families in the area who are in need this holiday season.

If you want to help out but don't have time to shop, you can stop by the RV and make a cash donation. In fact, CHOW can use that money to get better deals on food that is needed. And, they can buy food that they are specifically low on.

Another thing to think about is that the cold weather is here and families have to choose between heat and food on the table. And, schools go on break for the holidays and kids aren't getting that meal that they get at school.

All of that adds up to a very stressful situation for parents and families.

I want to thank you in advance for helping us fill the camper with food to make sure families can sit down on Thanksgiving and have food on the table.
