United Way of Broome County Passes Campaign Goal

The United Way of Broome County is reporting the 2018-2019 fundraising campaign is a big success.

The agency says on June 30^th it surpassed its $1,816,000 goal.

35 local non-profit organizations and 54 projects are funded through the campaign.

Since a foundation covers the operational costs of the United Way in Broome County, the agency is able to invest 100% of the funds raised through the Annual Community Campaign in local programs and projects.

In addition to monetary donations, the United Way says more than 1,800 individuals dedicated nearly 13,000 to volunteering in the community.

While the 2018-2019 campaign has concluded, companies and individuals can still run workplace campaigns or donate to the community campaign.
