Who doesn't love to partake in some retail therapy? Whether you are in a good, sad or bad mood, buying yourself something nice always does the trick. But, new research is saying that it is bad for you.

Retail therapy will cost you, literally. The reason: Scientists theorize that when people feel sad, they tend to devalue themselves, which in turn increases their drive and willingness to spend money.

What do you think of this study? My thought is that how can you put a price on feeling better? Within reason, of course, buying yourself something when you are blue is a great way to feel better and treat yourself.
