You’re Asked To Remove Masks In New York State
The COVID-10 pandemic is over! It may be hard to believe, but we are approaching the three year anniversary of the start of the shit downs and regulations that still impact us in one way or another.
Whether you agreed with it or not, there were mask mandates put in to place and many choose to still wear them in public places. However, there are some places that it is actually necessary to remove them for safety reasons.
In parts of New York State, there are business that are asking you to remove your masks before or upon entry...TEMPORARILY.
NYPD Chief Jeffrey Maddrey says New Yorkers have an obligation to ensure store clerks feel safe, adding once someone shows their face, they can put their mask back on if preferred.
“We are putting out a clear call to all of our shops: Do not allow people to enter the store without taking off their face mask,” Adams said Monday on 1010 WINS radio. “And then once they’re inside, they can continue to wear it if they so desire to do so.
