A loaded semi-automatic handgun, more than a pound of methamphetamine and thousands of dollars in cash were seized after Johnson City police pulled over a vehicle.

31-year-old Mark Mongillo of Unadilla faces five felony counts and other charges following Tuesday night's traffic stop on Route 201.

Authorities say police noticed a vehicle being driven erratically. Officers discovered Mongillo's driver license had been suspended. While speaking with him, they noticed a handgun in a door pocket and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Police confiscated a 9mm semi-automatic handgun, 1.4 pounds of meth and $4,468 in cash.

Mongillo was charged with weapon possession, criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle. He was arraigned and ordered held in Broome County Jail.
