Does Having a Larger Family Make You Happier?

I grew up with 6 brothers and sisters, and if I could go back and change anything about that I would change nothing! Growing up with a big family was and still is a lot of fun. Everyone always says the same thing though, "your poor mother!"

I am sure that newlyweds are not going to like this, but according to a new study, parents with at least 4 children get the most satisfaction out of life despite the chaos and higher expenses.

Researchers found that with larger families there is "social support within the family. The kids are never bored, they have someone to play with and they get independence quite early on."

On the flip side, the single dad was found to sadly be the least-happy. They are often seen as lesser parents and struggle to play a role in their children's lives, according to the findings.

So, get going you young couple!
