How To Find A Good Dog Sitter
Are you going away this summer on a vacation? If you have a dog, you will need to find someone to watch Fido while you're away. Bustle has some tips for you if you're unsure of how to find a good dog sitter.
- Ask around and see if your dog-owning friends and family members have someone that they trust to watch their pets when they go away. You are much more likely to receive an honest review of someone from a family member or friend than from an anonymous online post.
- Ask your vet if none of your friends can recommend anyone. Seeing that you trust your vet to take care of your dog, you should be able to trust their recommendation for a dog sitter if they know anyone.
- Have your dog meet them once you do find someone because they will be spending a lot of time with them while you're away, so if they don't like the person taking care of them, then there's no way that they will be receiving the best care while you're gone.
You want to make sure that your dog is in good hands while you're away, or else how can you even relax if you're too busy worrying about Fido?
