Tis' the season of changing ourselves for the better. How's the saying go? New year, new me? One of the best things we can do for ourselves is eliminate daily stress. You know, those things that we can actually control that are causing us grief. It's really all about simplifying our lives.
Here are some of my favorite tips on simplifying your life from Zen Family Habits:

- Get rid of unneeded clutter
- Make lunch the night before
- Lay out clothes for the next day the night before
- Keep a bag for garbage in your car
- Create morning, daytime, and nighttime routines
- Focus on one thing at a time
- Consolidate debt
- Finish an old task before beginning a new one
- Want what you have, not what you don’t
- Store new garbage bags at the bottom of your garbage can
- Start a healthy, simple eating plan
- Ask for help when needed
- Stay out of other people’s drama
- Automate your finances
