Harper Stantz’s Family Announced Her Organs Will Be Donated

According to WBNG, the family of Harper Stantz, who succumbed to her injuries after being struck by a Jeep on Beethoven Street earlier this week, will have her organs donated in the hopes of saving other lives.

Stanz and a 19-year-old named Brittany Laserinko were struck by a vehicle while walking home from playing tennis Monday afternoon. Laerinko was hospitalized and is now in stable condition.

33-year-old Kevin Wilcox of Harpursville is being held at the Broome County Jail on charges of vehicular assault and driving while ability impaired by drugs in connection with the accident. It is unclear if additional charges will be added against Wilcox.
