Unless it is Christmas morning, and you are six years old, no one ever really wants to get out of bed first thing in the morning. We all want to savor those extra five, ten, fifteen minutes before our alarms go off. Here are some tricks to save you time in the morning, and therefore, give you more time to sleep!

  • Try cold brew coffee because you can make this the day before to get your caffeine fix in the morning without waiting in line at Starbucks or making it first thing in the morning at home.
  • Prep your hair for tomorrow's look by braiding your wet hair before bed. You'll wake up with loose curls for a nice "beachy" look.
  • Organize your clothes for the next day. If you have to get up early to go to the gym, then set out your workout clothes the night before so you're not scrambling in the morning to look for them.
  • "Autopilot" your breakfast by choosing one thing that you eat every single morning. Keeping it simple by eating the same meal makes for preparing it in the morning all the more easy and quick.

Mornings are probably everyone's least favorite part of the day. Hopefully these little tricks can make the pain all the more bearable for you.
