Four Otsego County residents are facing drug charges after New York State Police say they shut down a methamphetamine manufacturing operation in the Town of Unadilla.

Authorities say they raided a home on Route 7 early in the morning on March 23 and arrested 28 year old Michael Schermerhorn, 32 year old Heather Price, 40 year old Eric Hoyt and 37 year old Barbara Meyers, all of Unadilla.  All are charged with felony unlawful manufacturing meth and misdemeanor criminal nuisance.

In addition, Price is charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance and Hoyt is charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon.

Authorities say they found about six ounces of suspected methamphetamine oil, two grams of meth, a New England Firearms sawed-off 12-gage shotgun, digital scale and several components commonly used in making methamphetamine in the home.

All suspects were sent to the Otsego County Jail on $15,000 bail.
