Five Minute Health Hacks!
Getting healthy and maintaining your health is so, so important. Bustle, and registered nurse Ashley Wood, have a few great five minute health hacks that you can use to help you get and stay healthy.
- Start your day by meditating as it gets your day started with an open mind and relaxed sense of being. Getting up five minutes early every morning to meditate helps to relieve any stress that you might be carrying from the day before and improve your mood if you had a rough night's sleep.
- Drink warm water with lemon first thing in the morning as it can help with gut health and boost your immune system with the vitamin C from the lemon. Apparently Meghan Markle does this, and look at her!
- Laugh out loud especially if you're feeling overwhelmed about something. If you're feeling stressed out almost to the point of tears, try to make yourself laugh instead as laughing has been known to decrease stress hormones.
Doing something little every day for just five minutes can help bring you closer to good health and wellness both physically and mentally.
