Endwell Man Convicted on Ten Drug-Related Counts
A Broome County court jury has found a town of Union resident guilty of several felony charges stemming from a drug raid.
Prosecutors say 49-year-old Bilal Flynn was convicted of eight counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He also was convicted of two misdemeanor counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia.
The jury returned the guilty verdicts Monday morning.
Flynn was arrested June 7 by the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force. He was indicted by a grand jury two months later.
When the drug raid was announced, police said they had found powder cocaine, crack cocaine and heroin when they searched a single-family home on Sherman Drive.
Flynn is scheduled to be sentenced on June 2.
