Deep Fried Twinkies Are Now Available All Year

The one thing I love about summer in the Southern Tier is all of the festivals and delicious food that goes along with them. But, I don't even need them anymore thanks to Twinkies!

I loved going to Spiedie Fest to get the deep fried Oreos and deep fried Twinkies. My excuse used to be that I can only get these goodies once a year, but I can't use that anymore!

Hostess just introduced a prepackaged version of Deep Fried Twinkies, and they're on sale right now at Walmart.  And Walmart has a one-year exclusive deal to sell them -- because they KNOW their customers.

According to Grubstreet.com, they're pre-fried and they're in the frozen food section. So you need to heat them up in the oven or the microwave before you eat them.

I am not sure I would go to the store to get a box of these. I like the idea of it being an annual treat at a festival. What do you think?
