Rise Domestic Violence Shelter Benefit Remembers a Beautiful Life

Make sure to come out this Sunday to the Rise Domestic Violence Shelter Benefit "In Memory of Katie Chappell" event. It's an event to raise domestic abuse and violence awareness in the Southern Tier.

It's going to be a great event full of information, demonstrations, 50/50 raffles, and live music for the whole family to enjoy. I'll be your MC for the event. This is being done in memory of Katie, who's life was taken due to domestic violence.

The event is going to be this Sunday, September 27th from 2- 8pm at The Choconut Inn 10 Quaker Lake Rd, Friendsville, Pennsylvania 18818.

There will be live music from three bands - Cousin Dupree, Steely Dan Tribute Band, and Mystic Moon Dance and Kites and Powerlines.

There will be 50/50 raffles, a cash bar and for a charge, food will be available inside the restaurant.

A $12 cover will be charged with partial proceeds going to RISE (aka SOS Shelter). Children under 16 will be $8.

This event is for all ages, so bring the whole family out!
