The first wave of runners takes off at 10 a.m. with a full day of activities planned including food, music and special awards as well as information about mental health and suicide prevention.
People wanting to participate can show up before the run to register. Volunteers are also needed. Anyone wanting to help should come to the SUNY Broome campus by 7 a.m. to sign in.
