4th of July Layered Pina Colada Cocktail – Drink of the Week

This weekend is the 4th of July and many of you are probably having parties.

Here is a delicious cocktail that you can make that will impress your family and friends because it looks way more complicated than it really is. And most importantly it tastes great and is a perfect  summer drink! 

You are going to make regular pina coladas. I really like the cans of the frozen mix that you get in the freezer section of the grocery store, but what ever you prefer. So add the run and ice and blend.

Divide the mixture into thirds and set aside.

With one of the mixture that you set aside, add some grenadine (cherry syrup). About 2 ounces. Blend and pour into glasses.

Then slowly spoon some of the white mixture on top of the red mixture and then put glasses in freezer.

While those are in the freezer take the last third of the mixture and add a few ounces of blue curacao and blend. Remove glasses and slowly pour the blue mixture on top.

This is such a delicious drink so you have to try it!
