Ever since that day when I was left with a nub of hair, I've been terrified of goats but as the mother to a little boy who is animal obsessed, I've had to swallow my fear a time or two including this last weekend when we visited the Great New York State Fair.

My family visited the New York State during its final weekend of 2021 and my son's eyes lit up when he saw there was an entire building of nothing but goats. He looked at me with pleading eyes and begged me to walk through with him.

I have to admit that the experience wasn't as terrifying as I imagined it would be (it might have something to do with the fact the animals were contained) and I actually learned a ton of fascinating facts about goats that I couldn't wait to share with you!
