Waverly Sex Offender Arrested on New Sex Abuse Charge

A Waverly sex offender is facing a new sex abuse charge.
Waverly Police say they recently arrested 34-year-old Christopher Henson for felony sexual abuse in connection with allegations that he subjected a 9-year-old girl to sexual contact in April and in May of 2021 at a home in the Village of Waverly.
The registered sex offender was released following his arraignment in Waverly Justice Court on August 26 to await further legal proceedings.
