Truck Driver From Kirkwood Killed in Workplace Accident in Victor

A Broome County truck driver is dead after authorities in Ontario County say he was found pinned under a tractor-trailer at a Home Depot store in western New York.

Sheriff's deputies say 65-year-old Brian Perry of Kirkwood was an independent truck driver dropping off a shipment at the Home Depot loading dock in Victor on May 1.

Investigators said it appeared Perry was adjusting a rear tire when the trailer shifted, pinning him between the tire and the trailer bed.

His body was found some time later by a Home Depot employee.
