The Story Behind Bills Player’s Hilarious Introduction [VIDEO]
The Bills playing on Sunday Night Football was huge. It wasn't just because it was the Bills' first SNF game in more than a decade, but because the team got to record those fun player introductions.
Those player intros may be the most fun part of SNF, because players often times change up the name of the school they went to, just for fun.
Some of the classic include all-time great linebacker Terrell Suggs hailing from "Ball So hard University", Jared Allen saying he went to culinary academy, and Matthew Judon saying "body built by Taco Bell".
This one actually makes sense though! White didn't just pick a jumble of words to throw together.
The phrase comes from a video the Buffalo Bills created which was to look like a fake instructional video where White would teach people how to be an ice hockey goalie, with the program affectionately being called "The Tre'Davious White Goalie Academy of Louisiana at Buffalo". Check it out:
It turns out White's shot-stopping skills transferred over to the gridiron. He had two interceptions in the Bills' 17-10 victory over the Steelers, which ALSO clinched a playoff birth!
I'm sure that White's intro would have made Key and Peele proud...
