Harry Potter’s ‘Birthplace’ is Now on Airbnb

Okay, Potterheads, your dream vacation just came in.

The house where fictional character Harry Potter was born is now available on Airbnb. if you're a big fan of the books and movies, you'll recognize the picture as the house of Harry's birth. There are lots of other great pics of the interior and exterior in the link above.

De Vere House is a real-life property in Suffolk, England, where, in the films, Harry Potter was born and lived with his parents Lily and James Potter, who were later killed by Lord Voldemort.

The historic home rests in the medieval village of Lavenham, home to 300+ protected heritage properties. It was the backdrop (thanks to some creative CGI) of the fictional village of Godric's Hollow in the Harry Potter film Deathly Hallows Part One. De Vere House was once a highly acclaimed bed and breakfast.

Two four poster bedrooms both with en suite bathrooms, TV, wifi internet access, private guest sitting room with log fire and courtyard garden. Please note that both rooms are listed separately on Airbnb. We provide a full English breakfast and vegetarian selection available too (taken in the Dining Room of the main wing of the House). Not suitable for pets, children under 18 or those with mobility problems due to the age and layout of the house.
