Tenney Leads Brindisi in Race for 22nd District
Pole position in the race for New York's 22nd Congressional district currently belongs to someone who once held the position
As of 2:00 Wednesday morning, Republican challenger Claudia holds a 28,422-vote lead over current Democratic Rep. Anthony Brindisi.
It's important to bear in mind there are thousands of absentee ballots which still need to be counted.
Tenney represented the 22nd district from 2017-2019 after former Rep. Richard Hanna retired. Brindisi defeated Tenney to gain the seat in the 2018 election.
