Teens Sought After Shots Fired at Binghamton House
Binghamton police are trying to find two teenage boys in connection with another shooting at an occupied residence.
Authorities say two gunshots were fired at a two-family apartment house at 107 Susquehanna Street.
The shooting incident was reported around 12:25 a.m. Thursday. Investigators say no one was hurt as a result of the gunfire.
Detectives say the two youths apparently ran from the area on foot toward the city's South Side.
Police searched several locations around the city following the shooting in an effort to locate the boys.
Investigators say both suspects were "juvenile-aged" black males. One was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and grey pants. The other was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt and red pants.
Police believe those involved in the incident know one another.
Binghamton detectives are continuing to investigate two shootings that occurred last week. One man was seriously hurt when he was shot at Carlisle Hills Apartments on the East Side on Memorial Day. No injuries were reported when several shots were fired at a house on Vestal Avenue a few hours later.
