Shots Reported Fired on Johnson City’s South Side

Apparently no one has been injured as police responded to a report of several shots fired on Johnson City’s south side July 15.

Police descended on the neighborhood at Burbank and Floral Avenues at around 5:45 p.m. and were said to have recovered some evidence at the scene.

No other details are being made available.

Some residents said they heard possibly a half dozen loud bangs they believed sounded like gunfire but police were not able to confirm that information.

At last word, there were no suspects in custody.
