More parents are turning to Christian and Catholic schools after what they witnessed during the pandemic. One of the Catholic schools in the Southern Tier is Seton Catholic Central, 70 Seminary Avenue in Binghamton.

On Saturday, November 19th, it's the 33rd Annual Bid For Boosters Holiday event and it's back in person after two years. It's all part of "Thanks For Giving" with the proceeds benefiting students and facilities for the Catholic Schools of Broome County.

It all begins at 5:30 p.m. as the Seton Catholic gymnasium is transformed into a banquet hall of fun for everyone. It's an exciting evening filled with food, silent and live auctions, basket raffles and of course their Athletic Hall of Fame Induction.

Seton Catholic Athletic Hall of Fame Induction

This year's honorees are former Girls Varsity Basketball Coach, Colleen Jayne and the 04-05 Girls Varsity Basketball State Championship Team. The induction ceremony will take place around 7 p.m.

I'll be hosting the live auction for the 4th straight year. The auction will include trips, tickets to national and local sporting events along with other various items that include experiences and more.
