Rituals and Superstitions Are Not Just for Athletes
I have heard different stories over the years about different athletes and certain rituals and superstitions they have. Some athletes eat the same food on game day, or have a pair of socks with holes in them that they have to wear with their uniform.
Well, I get it. I know I am not a physically superior athlete, but I too have a certain ritual that I swear by. In case you didn't know, I love my jewelry. I had a gold trumpet charm made for myself. I don't wear it all the time. But, I did wear last summer when I was going to perform the National Anthem for a Binghamton Mets game. And, it was the best we ever sounded.
So, from that moment on, anytime I play my trumpet for anything, I wear my trumpet charm.
Do you have any rituals or superstitions that you have in your daily routine? I can't imagine that I am the only one who has one. I would like to hear about yours.
