OurSpace was an inclusive playground where any child of any age or physical ability could play together. The destruction of the playground has not stopped our community from getting together to rebuild it from the ashes.

Many businesses and organizations including the Binghamton Devils are doing what they can to bring back hope. The Binghamton Devils have raised over $3,300 for the playground with their virtual car giveaway contest, find out how you can participate and donate here.

There are many ways that you can bring this special playground back to life. You can help them rebuild the OurSpace at Recreation Park, one brick at a time by buying a brick with a personalized message.

Maybe the action on May 31 was meant for darkness, but our community has shown the light that truly will make a difference.

Officials have said the fire was not part of protests that took place in the park earlier that day.
