Have you ever wondered what the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier (MHAST) is about? Well, they have been around since 1927 and is a private, non-profit organization located in Binghamton. They are one of 300 Mental Health affiliates in New York and is the oldest, continuously operating Mental Health Association in New York State.

They have been serving our community for over 90 years and helping to enhance the lives by improving their mental health and wellness. MHAST has been here for us especially during the coronavirus pandemic.

Have you wanted to know more about them and see what they are all about.? Now you can when they have their ANNUAL MEETING. You are invited to attend their meeting via Zoom on Wednesday, September 23rd beginning at Noon.

Go here to be a part of their meeting. Many things will be discussed and you can see what MHAST is all about. They will be recognizing Elizabeth Nurczynski (Compeer Volunteer) and Dominic Pasquale (UE XC 24-Hour Relay Team that raised funds for DIFD) will be recognized as Friends of MHAST.

Christine Combs, Howard Meller, and Decon Tom Picciano will be honored as outgoing members of their board. MHAST hopes that you'll take the time to join them on Wednesday, September 23rd.
